The Northwoods Consortium for Public Health Preparedness is established to develop core expertise and prepare for and respond to bioterrorism, infectious disease outbreaks and other public health threats.

Vision
To promote physical and mental health and prevent disease, injury and disability.

Goals
-    A strong local system for public health emergencies with functional, bi-directional
     productive partnerships among community stakeholders. 

-    Increased capacity to respond to outbreaks, public health and safety issues and
     emergencies.
